THE BRIEF

This project involved creating a new Shopify website and branding suite for ARTCH (formerly Art for Charity Collective). The branding part of the work introduced a new, shorter name that linked to the original but felt more youthful and current. I designed the site to increase conversions and make it easier for users to browse, discover artists and understand the brand’s unique mission.

  • Before

    The old Art for Charity Collective (ACC) site was dated and confusing, and it achieved a very low conversion rate. The branding was dull and didn’t match the brand or founder’s personality. It was also hard to understand ACC’s mission and what made it unique amongst its competitors.

  • During

    The most important things I had in mind throughout the branding and build were making sure that the brand’s USP was at the forefront, making the look more current, keeping the site easy to navigate and engaging, and, crucially, ensuring that it would consistently convert.

  • After

    The finished site is clean and easy to navigate and reflects the brand’s personality perfectly. The overall look is high-end but still inviting and keeps the brand on the same level as its competitors. The branding is short and snappy and has introduced a completely different feel without moving too far away from the original name.
